The 14-day Odisha Startup Carnival was marked with exciting events, networking and pitch sessions.
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Startup Carnival 2023 organized by AIC-Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation in association with Government of India’s Atal Innovation Mission and Registered Venture Capital Fund Sebi Fluid Ventures and Chamber of Commerce and Utkal Industry Limited (UCCIL) has played a key role in strengthening the startup ecosystem in the state. The 14-day event saw a slew of sessions and special programs that promoted startups in the state.
More than 70 startups and 15 investors were added to the Odisha Startup Carnival, which began on December 10, 2023. The top 20 startups showcased their innovative ideas to esteemed investors. The investors have committed to providing them with significant funds that will enrich their initiatives and help grow the state’s startup ecosystem.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Durga Prasad, CEO, AIC-NITF said, “The Odisha Startup Carnival 2023 has been organized with an aim to strengthen the startup ecosystem in the state. More than 30 speakers and mentors, 15 investors and 70 startups participated. Discussions took place on various topics. The event played a major role in bringing together all the players in the startup ecosystem. Some of our best startups have received a soft commitment to obtain funding from investors. An announcement on this subject will be made soon. ”

Panel discussions were held on various issues on the final day of the event, Saturday. Discussions were held on topics such as Investor Perspective: Seed Funding, Investor Perspective: Growth Funding, Incubation Scenario for Startups, Role of Industry in empowering entrepreneurs, the vision of the future of new generation entrepreneurs and building an ecosystem for green innovation.
In this second edition of Odisha Startup Carnival, a variety of industry-education interactions, meetings, counting sessions, etc. will take place. were organized which will take the participating startups to the pinnacle of success. It has provided a single platform to all stakeholders in the startup ecosystem. A large number of industry experts, educational institutions, start-ups, innovators, incubators, mentors, investors and corporates participated in the event.
