The MID3M+ music festival, conference and marketplace, which returns to Cannes, France from January 24-27, will discuss topics including the influence of AI in music, the sustainability of touring and how festivals are pioneers in carbon neutral events.
Following Closure of MIDEM In 2021, the relaunched MIDƐM+ version returned in January. The next edition, themed “Distortion”, will discuss future business trends in the sector, with a series of immersive events, conferences and live concerts at Cannes City Hall.
MID3M+ organizers have already announced speakers Jean Bourcereau (managing partner of Ventech Srishti), Srishti Das (Hivewire), Bruce Hamilton (general partner of Everybody Ventures), Anne McKinnon (CEO and co-founder of Ristband), Sébastien Borget (CEO of The Sandbox) and Per Sundin (Pophouse Entertainment).
Ahead of MIDƐM+, any startup founded in 2020 or later, with less than one million euros of previous equity funding, was invited to participate in the MIDƐM+ Start-Up Battles, a competition that attracts innovations in the fields of Web3, culture, experience and AI. and impact. 50 finalists have been selected who will receive a start-up registration pass, visibility and pitch time during MIDƐM+ 24.
MID3M+ is organized by the city of Cannes and the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, with the support of the companies Hopscotch, Panda Events and Pianity.
