WASHINGTON, Oct 23 (Reuters) – Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti’s office said on Monday there would be a news conference Tuesday with five other states to discuss an investigation into big tech.
Other states participating in the press conference are California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Nebraska and New Hampshire.
Although Reuters could not determine the subject of the press conference, in November 2021, Tennessee joined seven other states in investigating the allegations. (META.O) promoted its Instagram subsidiary to children despite potential harm.
Separately, the Virginia Attorney General’s Office announced Monday that it would hold a news conference Tuesday to brief reporters on a similar investigation into Meta.
