Nominations are open for the Digital Health Networks Awards 2024, the only awards focused on recognizing and celebrating the best local leaders in NHS digital health in the UK.
Open to members of the Digital Health Networks, the 7,000-strong community of digital leaders working across all parts of the health service, the 2024 awards will be chosen by the elected leaders of the digital health networks.
Jon Hoeksma, CEO of Digital Health, said: “The Digital Health Networks Awards return for 2024 and will recognize the best current and future leaders in digital health across the NHS. Chosen by an expert jury of NHS digital leaders voted for by their peers, they represent a unique distinction in the sector.
This year's award categories are:
- Chief Clinical Information Officer of the Year
- IT Director of the Year
- Chief Nursing Information Officer of the Year
- Rising Star Award
- Exceptional Team (new for 2024)
The entries for the Digital Health Networks Awards can be done by an individual or team naming themselves or one or more colleagues here.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a member of digital health networks.
- Be a CCIO, CIO, CNIO, future digital leader or team currently working or using technology in your daily work in digital health and social care.
- Work for the NHS, public sector, not-for-profit or third sector providers, in charitable sectors, or as an academic or researcher.
- Demonstrate how the candidate meets the criteria for the category using evidence to support the reasons.

Applications are open for the chance to be recognized by the network of 7,000 peers, gain media coverage in Digital Health News and win a free place. Summer Schools 2024 at Durham University.
The awards ceremony will take place as part of the final session on the first day of summer schools on Thursday 18 July 2024 at Durham University.
The deadline for registrations is Friday May 17 at 12 p.m.
