Bitfinex Pay – Version V0.6.5
THE Bitfinex Pay Merchant Dashboard is an in-house tool designed to provide our merchants with powerful reporting and functionality to help them manage their merchant crypto gateway.
We are happy to share the latest updates to Bitfinex Pay. To learn more about Bitfinex Pay, please refer to https://blog.bitfinex.com/category/bitfinex-pay/.
Merchant Dashboard
Improvements
- Completely redesigned the Invoice Details -> Payments menu to clearly display payments received, moving the option to manually add a payment to its own section.
- Separating the flow of manually filling out an invoice from adding a new payment. Previously, if you wanted to manually complete an invoice, you always had to add a new payment. Now an invoice can be completed manually without the need to add a new payment as long as the invoice already has at least one payment associated with it.
- Added an amount filter to the Unrelated Payments and Deposits menus
- Improved the confirmation method displayed when manually adding a payment to an invoice, displaying relevant information about the payment and invoice.
- Added a commercial option on the manual invoice generator to correctly identify and store end customer commercial information.
- The FIAT selection field for the manual invoice generator and POS cash register creation is now wider to avoid displaying currencies on two lines to be cut.
- Added translations for some missing text in the Settings menu
- Payment menu data can now be sorted by amount, associated order ID, date and time.
- Different payments for the same invoice are now displayed together in the Payments menu
- Adding an event in Invoices -> Invoice History for partial payments
- Added a visual selected state when selecting predefined deadlines for date filtering in the Invoices, Payments and Auto Conversion History menus.
- Some minor design improvements have been added to the Wallets menu when a wallet has auto-conversion enabled to make it easier to visually identify.
- Improved user-facing error text when creating a manual invoice with an invalid amount with Bitcoin Lightning selected as the accepted token
- Added a button to disable all active automatic conversions in the portfolios menu
- Since manual payments made from a Bitfinex wallet are off-chain to make them faster and save on fees, the Payments menu will display the text “Off-Chain Transaction” over “Transaction Hash” for this payment type.
- Improved responsive design for invoices -> Invoice details so they display well on mobile and tablet devices
- Adjusted the width of the Mark as… dropdown in invoice details so that the text appears on a single line for all languages.
- Replacing UST ticker with USDt in automatic conversion CSV exports
- Fee amount values are now always displayed up to 8 decimal places instead of the exponential formula in automatic conversion CSV exports.
- Improved the design of the modal QR code when you click generate QR for invoice in the invoice details, as well as adding a short explanatory text and a button to download the QR in image format.
- Improved user-facing error text when attempting to manually create an invoice for a customer who has reached their daily limit.
- Clicking the Invoice Created Successfully notification after manually creating an invoice now redirects to the Invoice Details menu of that new invoice.
- Minor design improvements to missing 2FA modal when a merchant tries to access the merchant dashboard without 2FA setup
- Added a disclaimer to the manual invoice generator when selecting the Bitcoin Lightning token as the accepted token for amounts greater than the equivalent of $1,000.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue preventing wallets from showing the correct currency conversion until the page refreshes after switching to a new FIAT in Settings.
- Fixed an issue causing multiple rate limit errors to display when manually adding a payment to an invoice and selecting “I don't know” when asked which token had been used to make payment.
- Fixed unexpected scrolling behavior when adding tokens in the Manual Invoice Generator modal
- Fixed an issue that caused searching in the Unrelated Payments menu to return multiple unrelated results when searching by Deposit ID or Transaction Hash.
- Fixed minor typo on FIAT currency list
- Fixed an issue that caused newly added FIAT currencies (HNL and GTQ) to appear at the bottom of the FIAT currency list instead of in alphabetical order.
- Fixed copying error displayed when trying to manually create an invoice with Bitcoin Lightning as the accepted token for more than 5 BTC equivalents
POS web app
Improvements
- Extending the width of some buttons in the “Link with QR” flow to ensure that buttons display all options on a single line in all languages
- Amounts added in POS invoices are now automatically formatted for easy reading
- Standardization of the amount format to display in the same way as e-commerce invoices (EUR instead of €, USD instead of $, etc.)
Fixes
- Fixed an issue displaying an incorrect QR code when clicking to expand the QR code in Bitcoin Lightning Invoices
- Fixed a minor typo appearing in invoices created with the newly added FIAT currencies (HNL – Honduran Lempira and GTQ – Guatemalan Quetzal)
