πΌ New recruitment software Oleo is adopted by Somerset NHS Foundation Trust to help streamline processes, address equality, diversity and inclusion and improve the manager and candidate experience. The trust plans to go live with the new recruitment, candidate management and reporting software in May. The software will allow the trust to speed up recruitment by automating aspects of the process. In addition, dashboards will give managers and candidates visibility on the responses or controls still necessary.
π₯½ Osso Health was launched by OssoVR, a medical training application for Apple Vision Pro. The app blends digital content with the physical world to bring the operational experience to life, with detailed and clinically accurate workflows of common procedures. Osso Health currently allows users to participate in surgical workflows for carpal tunnel release procedures and total knee replacements.
π€ Bayer and Google Cloud announced a collaboration to develop AI solutions to support radiologists. This partnership will enable Bayer to further develop its innovation platform to accelerate the development and deployment of AI-based healthcare applications for radiology. It will use Google Cloud technology, including GenAI tools.
π° HealthSage AI, less than a year after its creation, announced a start-up investment of 3 million euros to improve and evolve its open generative AI platform entirely dedicated to healthcare. This platform will provide a reliable and transparent foundation for the development and adoption of AI applications for healthcare, including HealthSage AI's own Note-to-FHIR LLM.
π§ The NHS Wales online mental health support service has reached 30,000 referrals since its pilot six years ago. The free service β powered by a digital mental health platform Silver Cloud β was successfully trialled in Powys in May 2018 and expanded across Wales three years later in response to the Covid pandemic.
