The NextGen CCIO and CIO Fellowship Program was created ahead of this year's Digital Health Summer Schools to help identify, promote and support emerging digital leaders who seek personal growth in CIO roles within the industry UK Digital Health and Care.
The brand new scholarship program, sponsored by Selling powerwill help foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange among future digital leaders to encourage innovation and the sharing of best practices.
Ten aspiring chief clinical information officers (CCIOs) and ten aspiring chief information officers (CIOs), members of digital health networks, will receive a scholarship to cover participation costs. Summer Schools 2024which will take place on July 18 and 19 in Durham.
The scholarship program includes:
- Two-day access to summer school keynotes, presentations, breakout sessions and networking
- On-site accommodation, meals and refreshments
- Access to evening social events
- Certificate of participation in CPD
To apply for the scholarship, you must:
- Be an emerging digital leader seeking personal growth in CCIO and CIO roles
- Be a resident of the United Kingdom
- Be a member of the Digital Health Networks
- Currently working in digital health and social care or using technology in your daily work in health and social care.
- Demonstrate how you work for the role of CCIO or CIO or similar
- Have not received a scholarship to attend summer schools in previous years
- Preference will be given to those who have not previously participated in Summer Schools.
