We are all involved in projects, whether we are project managers, project team members, or regular developers. If you work in the corporate world, you know how easily large projects can get disorganized, but not anymore, in this article I'm going to describe how I use ClickUp to effectively organize my day.
What is ClickUp
ClickUp is a powerful project management tool for teams and individuals. It combines important business applications and centralizes company information in a single online solution.
How I use ClickUp
There are many reasons why I use ClickUp in my daily life; nevertheless, I will highlight a few in this article.
The spaces
Spaces divide your workspaces into different departments, teams, groups, high-level initiatives, or whatever you want to group together at a high level.
For example, if you create a workspace to manage your social media presence, you can use spaces to organize your Facebook post, your tweets on Twitter, your job postings on Linkedin, etc.
The second level of the ClickUp hierarchy is Spaces, which lets you customize everything. This is usually the ClickUp hierarchy

└── Tasks
Tasks
This is the feature I use to organize my blog post and Twitter feeds/tweets. Each task can have a status, a priority and many other elements. You can also add a subtask to each task.
Wikis
This is where I write my article and write my tweets/threads. It has a WYSIWYG – Markdown editor. I use this tool daily to write my article and after some revisions, I will publish it on Hashnode.
You can also publish your wiki/doc directly from ClickUp and this will give you a shareable link. Pretty cool haaa…
To integrate
To be frank, this feature comes in handy when you're writing wikis based on some Figma designs, you can simply switch to another tab from ClickUp itself. Not only Figma but also any HTML/URL you need to embed it.
Mental map
The easiest way to plan, organize and visualize your thoughts and ideas is to use mind mapping. And I'm sure you've seen mind maps at some point in your life.
A mind map is a hierarchical graph focused on a single idea. It organizes data in a non-linear manner, making it easier to visualize and understand any topic.
In the example below, I used the Mind mapping function to organize them.
Click on Applications
Last but not least, ClickApps allows you to completely customize your team's personal experience within each workspace. You have tons of third-party apps that you can integrate with ClickUp
