PCMIS Health Technologies will collaborate with Dr. Julian Medical Group to deliver a transformative approach to mental health care delivery, promoting improved accessibility and efficiency in the delivery of mental health care.
Patient record system, PCMIS now integrates perfectly with Dr Juliena mental health platform available on web and mobile devices.
Integration eliminates manual tasks: the patient referral process is now carried out via a secure digital integration. This helps reduce administrative workloads and improve patient safety at the same time.
Patients already connected to the PCMIS system can now quickly access mental health therapies through a user-friendly calendar booking system. Patients can choose between secure video, audio or text appointments.
Byron George, co-founder and CEO of PSMIC, praised the collaborative effort as “an example of innovation and industry partnership,” noting the impact it will have on patient care and operating costs of the NHS.
It is hoped that automating certain tasks will help streamline processes, not only freeing up staff time, but also promoting smoother operations. This saves healthcare providers time and also results in tangible savings.
The collaboration will also help support informed decision-making and personalized care, as clinicians can access responses to clinical questionnaires, such as PHQ-9 and GAD7, directly in the PCMIS patient record.
Additionally, secure data flow between systems will ensure patient records are up to date.
Dr Julian Nesbitt, founder of Dr Julian, said: “Interoperability is no longer a nice-to-have but an essential component of the NHS digitalisation agenda.
“We are delighted to have achieved such a seamless integration with PCMIS, which will not only save administrative time and reduce risk, but will also allow us to reach many more patients struggling with mental health issues.”
Doctor Julien, tele and virtual health solutions for mental health providers, was a Pitchfest Digital Health Rewired finalist in 2023 in the scale-up category.
