In 2019, the family of Apple engineer Wei Lun Huang (aka Walter Huang) sued Tesla a year after he was killed when his Model X crashed while Autopilot was engaged. The car manufacturer has settled the lawsuit – the same day on which the jury selection was to take place. Tesla's lawyers asked the court to seal the settlement agreement so that the payment amount would not be made public.
Tesla confirmed shortly after the crash that Autopilot was engaged at the time of the crash, but also insisted that Huang had time to react and had a clear view of the splitter. In a press statement, the company insisted that the driver was at fault and that the accident could only have happened if Huang was “not paying attention to the road.”
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigation found that Huang was playing a mobile game, but could not confirm whether he was holding the phone during the impact.

Replace Fairbuds batteries in 30 seconds.
The big problem with the rise of true wireless earbuds is that they are almost never repairable. Once the batteries are used up, it's over. Fairphone, however, has built a pair of earbuds with not only replaceable batteries, but also easily replaceable batteries. Fairbuds are made from 70% recycled and fair trade materials, while 100% of rare earth elements and tin are recycled. They cost €149 and it's likely we'll see them in the US at some point, just like its phones.
