Crypto: The Game, the reality TV competition inspired by “Survivor” which went viral earlier this yearreturns for a third season, under new ownership.
Monday, Uniswap Labs, the startup behind the leader Ethereum decentralized exchange, Uniswap— announced that it had acquired Crypto: The Game. Founders Dylan Abruscato, Tyler Cagle, and Bryan Lee will join Uniswap Labs to continue leading the experience, while helping Uniswap Labs craft its own message around decentralized finance.
Crypto: The Game is a chain survival game that quickly gained popularity on Crypto Twitter during its first season, during which players participated in a series of challenges, such as playing Pac-Man online or to real-world treasure hunts, worth $115,000. of ETH.

“We see this as an opportunity to leverage their expertise and our learnings from previous seasons,” Abruscato explained. “There will always be new games, new twists and new drama, all under the Uniswap Labs umbrella.”
