Hacksaw Gaming introduced its Canny the Can character to the world in 2019 with its Stick 'Em slot. They have since added three more slots to the series. There's Drop 'Em, Stick 'Em and Book of Time, which completely broke the carefully curated naming convention. It's like a publisher completely changing the size and design of the cover of the fourth book in a series, so that it looks weird on your bookshelf.
Fortunately, the 'Ems are back with Hacksaws latest addition to the Canny the Can series Keep'Em location.
Retro style
Keep'Em slot is a six-reel slot that features 15,625 ways to win. One of the most unique ways is the instant win symbols that can appear on the reels. When an instant cash symbol appears on the same spin as a Get'em symbol, the value displayed will be multiplied by your bet amount and the total awarded. This is confusing. The dollar symbol makes it appear that you will receive that amount as your winnings. However, it is really just a multiplier. This seems unnecessarily confusing.
If an instant cash symbol and/or a Get'em symbol appears on one of the two central reels (reels three and four), you will trigger the Keep'Em bonus. When this happens, the trigger symbol will be locked in place and the rest of the reels will spin three times, giving you the opportunity to add extra money or Get'em symbols to the two center reels.
Three FS symbols will trigger the Keep 'Em Comin' Free Spins Round, while four will trigger the Keep Your Friends Close Free Spins Round. Once triggered, the Keep'Em Comin' Free Spins Series will offer you an increased chance of landing Get'Em symbols and instant winning cash symbols over ten base spins.
Once a Keep Your Friends Close Free Spins round is triggered, the instant cash symbols will remain on the reels until collected. If you fill an entire line with uncollected instant cash symbols, these amounts will be automatically paid out. Once collected, the cash symbols will disappear.
If you don't feel like going through the madhouse to get to the good stuff, you can also choose to purchase a portion of either round of free spins.
Is the Keep 'Em slot machine the pride of the Canny the Can series?
By betting up to a maximum of $25 per spin, you can expect to win up to $250,000 playing Keep 'Em slot. Bets start at $0.10 per spin, and thanks to the 10,000x maximum multiplier, you can expect good returns even if you bet at the lowest levels of the slot. Slot machine features average volatility, which gives the gameplay a balance between rare big wins and more consistent small wins. The Keep'Em slot machine offers a RTP of 92.27%.
Stick 'Em did not feature a Canny the Can sidekick. Drop 'Em, Stick 'Em, and Book of Time all featured the Little Mouse, who definitely has a name that currently eludes me. In Keep them handy, Hacksaw introduced a brand new character, Bob the Bird. Even though the mouse was pretty cute, Bob is a little scary. Apart from this addition, fans of the series will feel at home in the universe revisited in this new version of Hacksaw. And as has become the norm with Hacksaw games, it's packed with bonus features that keep you engaged. I give the Keep 'Em slot a nine out of ten.
If you are looking for some more interesting slots from Hacksaw, I recommend you to try The panda's eye And 2 wild 2 die.
